Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to execute the latest firmware update for my ZBook G9 Power. When I reboot the laptop, the update starts processing. When it gets to the point where it is updating the thunderbolt port driver, an error is thrown.

Intel(R) Thunderbolt Retimer Firmware Update failed

Intel(R) Thunderbolt Retimer_1 FW

Fail to switch TBT to FW update mode

 

Once the Ok button is pressed, the computer restarts. Is this an issue I should be concerned about?
