Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

There is HP Application Assistant, Connection manager, Launch Box, Power Manager, and Quick Launch on my laptop.  I dont see that they do anything but take up space.  Why are they there and can I just uninstall/delete them?

Welcome to HP support community.

Are you facing any issue with the application?

Are you facing low disc space issue?

If you want you can uninstall the application:

  1. In Windows, search for and openControl Panel. In Control Panel, locate Programs, then click Uninstall a program.

  2. In the Uninstall or change a program window, select the program you want to remove from the list and click Uninstall or Uninstall/Change at the top of the program list.

  3. Read and respond to any messages that open while the software is being removed from your computer.

Let me know how it goes.
