Hi. I have tried to find a solution for this for a while.

I found two windows error pop-ups that are the same as when i tried to run HP diagnostics in windows that basically say it can't run. I always need to click "okay," to just turn off the message.

However, they show up when I am not running the program.

I tried to look in the event log to see if windows was showing references to HP Diagnostics.

It shows "Device attached is not functioning," while simultaneously showing references to HP diagnostics DLL files completing.

Those references will show battery check tests or other tests when HP Diagnostics is not running within windows.

Is perchance, this something like HP Support Assistant, or something trying to run Diagnostics tests, but unable to do so, so it brings up those pop-ups and says something similar to "operation completed," due to it failing?

I am wondering why HP Diagnostics doesn't seem to run on my system anymore, and possibly for over a year?

I can only run UEFI diagnostics. I did not run that program for a while.

i do think that windows became incompatible with it, as it requires net framework to run, but net framework changed. Windows apparently also says that error due to program errors. It has occurred since HP Diagnostics stopped running. Yet if anyone is aware of how to get this program working, I would appreciate it.

i did download and reinstall it, and do many different changes and updates to try to get it fixed.
