There's a couple of drivers from the HP Driver page I wanted to install in my system.  One was a new BIOS,  but I suspect the Core Isolation was stopping it.  The other a Realtek driver, in hope that very annoying event where the Network card and driver disappear after sleep mode would fix it.  But, neither using the HP driver installer or manually would get the driver install.  All other updates for Windows or other programs works great, no issued except for HP drivers.  Also, the Support Assistant has not come up with one driver needing to be installed.  It's a new laptop.

Thanks for reaching out Sandytechy20, but it's a laptop.  I've put a lot of time in with another tech and no further at fixing the problem.  I have a "critical" update for my Realtek driver that hopefully will finally fix the issue and it won't install either with the HP install assistant or manually.  It's under warranty and when I try to get in touch for a phone call it says my phone number is invalid.  Thanks, but I don't intend to put any more time into this.

Update the Bios, chipset, and drivers using HP Support Assistant.

Download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here

  • HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
  • Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
  • Click Updates in the My notebook pane
  • Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  • Updates list in HP Support Center
  • Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  • Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  • Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also, ensure Windows is up to date.

  • Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

The hyper link took me to a dead page.  The version of HP Support is newer than the one offered for download on the HP page.  It's never offered a download,  the computer is less that 3 months old.  Going to HP and having it detect my drivers it has just a few listed specifically for that laptop.  The "critical" Realtek driver in red is a year older than the one installed.  The newer BIOS  F 25 is not in the list of drivers needed for my device.  I did try to install it though the download  install asst and manually and neither worked or installed.   A friend who works on another brand of computer wondered if things aren't compatible with 22H2.  When I tell the HP site to find drivers for my laptop, 22H2 isn't an option only Win 11 21H2.   All Windows updates install with no issue.

This might require remote access of the computer to fix the issue.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to talk to HP support.

Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely

Cheers.
