HP 15-bs158nia
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The Hp support page provided a list of drivers to update after detecting product. hp 15-bs158nia

However the drivers have refused to update with basically every one i've tried to install showing "the driver is not supported on this OS version (10.0.19041)" ,

N.B The battery is still a measly 3.5 hours in battery saving mode after HP advertised 9 hours

According to the HP spec page I found for your model, it only came with FreeDOS -- and that page does not provide ANY HP drivers of any kind.  So, I don't know where you are finding these drivers.

Also, you are running Windows 10 v20.04 and HP has not released drivers for that OS version yet.
