How does the notebook PC respond?

It looks like you are down to a system board or BIOS chip replacement. The latter is generally only done by technicians, advanced enthusiasts or specialty BIOS repair business.

I am having the EXACT same problem with my G62-340 laptop. Running Win 10 for over a year. No problems with booting up until about 24 hrs. ago. Have tried hard reset numerous times. Tried turning off and then back on many times. 3 times, during this process it surprisingly did boot up, but after several more hours of turning off & on & hard resets I haven't been able to get it to boot up again.
Did this problem get solved for dandyzinc from his 8-26-2012 post?
