@mahbooos,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

Let's try these steps here:

Uninstall the command center from the PC and install the latest version of the command center from the Microsoft store.

To change the setting after HP Command Center has been uninstalled:

Re-install HP Command Center from the Microsoft Store from the link below:

https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9P92N00QV14J

If the issue persists I would suggest you update the BIOS and Chipset drivers for your notebook from our HP support website, using this link or download it using HP support assistant.

Refer this article to know more information about using HP support assistant.

Let me know if this works!

I hope you have a great day!

Hello dear singh

I updated the BIOS to F.45 and that seems to have fixed the throttling limits, it was throttling at 62° now it goes up to 70°.

For the command centre, i tried your steps but still no luck, i would choose an option but for some reason it wouldn't register

@mahbooos,

In this scenario, the next option would be to install it from recovery manager.

First uninstall the command center from the PC and then reinstall it from HP Recovery manager - HP PCs - Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 10)

Once done, restart the computer

If this does not resolve the issue then the next option would be to perform a system reset.

You may follow the steps suggested in this support document for  - HP PCs - Resetting Your Computer (Windows 10)

For some reason, if this does not help then I would suggest you could try to use HP Cloud Recovery Tool which allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive.

If this option does not work then you can follow this link: HP PCs - Obtaining PC Recovery USB Drives or Discs Or else you may contact our HP support team to help you order a set of recovery media for your PC.

HP support team can be reached on this link

Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help you.
