Hello,
I have an HP Omen gaming laptop and an HP keyboard. (i will give the model numbers if necessary).
The keyboard came with a wireless dongle that i inserted into my HP laptop and works very well.
Last week i tried to take the dongle out and insert it in my work laptop so i can use the keyboard there. The work laptop saw the dongle and set it up for use but the keyboard does not work on my work laptop. While i was trying to type i realized that that the keyboard was still typing on my HP laptop even if the dongle was inserted into my work laptop.
I even closed my HP laptop but the keyboard did not work with the dongle on my work laptop.
It is somehow paired directly with my HP laptop.
What should i do in this case so i can use the keyboard on any device ?
Thank you.
Danut

@DanutDobre Thanks for sharing your concern with the HP Community,
here's what I'll need, so I may be able to provide an accurate solution:
What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: click here
(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.)
Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?
To confirm, is it still working on the HP Laptop and yet, not working on any other device? though you've removed the dongle from the HP laptop and inserted the same on the other device?
Please reply with the details for further assistance.
Eager to help!
