@JuhiSneh2119, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Pavilion x360 14-dy0000 is no longer detecting your HP MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen via Bluetooth, and it was working fine earlier, the issue could be due to a Bluetooth stack error, Windows or driver update, or pen pairing reset. Here’s how to troubleshoot and fix the issue:

Check Pen Power and Battery

  • Make sure the pen battery is charged.
  • Press and hold the top button for 5-7 seconds – the LED should blink (pairing mode). If it doesn’t, the battery may be dead or the pen needs a reset.

Forget and Re-Pair the Pen

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
  • If your pen shows up, click it and choose Remove device.
  • Now restart your PC.
  • Press and hold the top button on the pen for 5–7 seconds until the LED starts flashing (Bluetooth pairing mode).
  • Try pairing it again under Bluetooth & devices > Add device > Bluetooth.

Update Bluetooth Driver

  • Open Device Manager > Bluetooth.
  • Right-click on the Bluetooth adapter (e.g., Intel Wireless Bluetooth) and select Update driver > Search automatically.
  • If the pen still doesn’t show, go to the HP Support website for your model and reinstall the latest Bluetooth driver manually.

Update the Pen Firmware (if supported)

  • Download the HP Pen Control App from the Microsoft Store.
  • If supported, the app will show firmware update options.
  • Reconnect after the update.

Reset Bluetooth Stack

Open Command Prompt as administrator and run the following commands:

net stop bthserv
net start bthserv

Then, restart your laptop.

Perform a System Restore (Optional)

  • If the pen was working recently, perform a System Restore to a point when it was working:
  • Go to Control Panel > Recovery > Open System Restore.
  • Select a restore point and follow the instructions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
