HP ENVY Photo 7858 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I have 1 printer and two computers.  Printer online and prints from one,  Second computer has the right IP in windows settings and can print a test page.  HP Smart has printer at wrong IP address and declares it offline,  I uninstalled all HP software I could find but reinstall can only bring up old address so offline.  HP smart and Print and scan Doctor only checkes old places and cannot find it with the right address typed in.

T tried most of the solutions but the problem is not with the connection.  I can print from windows. I deleted HP smart and reinstalled it.  The problem is it remembers the wrong IP address.  I cannot access it, I cannot hide it.  I cannot delete it.  I cannot reinstall it.  It simply will not let HP Smart run since there is no printer and the one I have is "off line" since it is actually a different IP.

The real problem turned out to be the printer connecting to a dual band wifi and the computers doing the same but the software has problems.  I corrected it by making a 2.4 GHz wifi network so all is good.
