Product: HP ProBook 450 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

The software is a critical security upate offered by HP. It downloads ok and the Installshield wizard extracts the files, but then nothing happens. I have deleted the file, downloaded it again but the same result. I have rebooted the laptop but same result. The file is https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp92001-92500/sp92303.exe. 

 

The HP support page detailing the reason for the update is:

My laptop is up-to-date with Microsoft os updates.

 

What can I do now?
