Welcome to the HP User Community.

Some ways to rein-in (manage) the HP Support Assistant...

Open Windows Start

Find the HP Support Assistant > Right-Click on the app

If the app is Pinned to Start and you don't want it, Unpin from Start

If the app Pinned to Taskbar >> Click More > Unpin from Taskbar

What else?

At this point, you do not need HPSA checking for updates.

There have not been any updates for this system since 2021 .

So, first thing you could try...

Open HPSA > Open Settings

Uncheck "Show contact and warranty options..."

Uncheck "Share usage data..."

Switch OFF "Software Updates Settings"

Can't stand it?  Feel like you might miss a sudden update?

Once a month or so, open

HP Support Assistant and "check for updates"

OR

Open Software and drivers for HP Pavilion 15t-cs200 CTO

If needful, clarify / enter your Operating System / Version

Open All Drivers

Open All (expand the whole list)

Peruse the driver list for anything marked for this year (2022 at this writing)

What else?

  • Uninstall the HP Support Assistant from Apps and Features
  • If found, Uninstall HP Support Solutions from Control Panel > icon view > Programs and Features
  • Restart the computer and log in.

Next...

Which HPSA?

If you want HPSA back on the system at all...

If you want to try the older version of the HPSA, get that from your category Software and Drivers:
