Not sure if i've put this in the right thread, but here goes.
I bought the hp spectre x360 today and have been trying it out for the past few hours. Something i noticed while i was drawing in art programs was the issue the laptop was having with drawing straight lines. When i was drawing with pressure sensitivity on, the lines didn't come out fluent or straight, but rather with weird waves probably caused by badly registering the pressure i put on it. I thought maybe it was a driver issue so i wanted to update it, but i couldnt find any compatible drivers online.
I read somewhere that maybe WinTab drivers would help (which are meant for surface pro's). Is this true or would this screw things up?
Thank you in advance,
Casey

@caseyspectre, Thanks for your quick response and time.
I appriciate your efforts for writing back to us.
As you mentioned you contacted phone support and it is a known issue.
But as I suggested to get accuracy on using the stylus you have to use an active stylus to get the accuracy.
Also, you can contact phone support for more information.

Hi! @caseyspectre, Welcome to HP forums.
I understand you have issues using stylus accurately on your laptop.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?
Please provide the product number of your laptop to assist you better.
As you mentioned you have issues using stylus accurately on your laptop.
I have checked the specifications of your laptop. And according to the specifications, your laptop support an active stylus.
Since you are using a passive stylus on your laptop due to which you have issues drawing lines accurately.
An active stylus (also known as a digital stylus) uses a digitizer built into the screen to allow communication between the touch screen and the pen. An active stylus might support many or all of the functions supported by a mouse, such as right-click, hover, and more. Many active stylus models can block stray marks from your hand resting on the screen or the sweep of your palm while writing so that the screen only registers marks made by the pen.
A passive stylus (also known as a capacitive stylus) functions the same as your finger on the screen. Passive styluses do not require batteries, and they work on any touchscreen device.
