When I last checked what files were in the HP tools Drive E:  it was filled with HP files.  My laptop is older and it seems it has accumulated HP tool files for years and is now full.  Because the E: Drive is full it is making the C: Drive (which contains E: Drive) act full (which it is not) and sluggish, not allowing some procedures because of "low memory."  What HP files can I delete?  Or what HP files are relevant and should be in there so I can delete the rest?

Hello,

C and E are just partitions - virtual separation of a single piece of hardware - single hard disk drive.

If one of them is full, this does not affect the other one. If your laptop is slow and sluggish, this is not related to the fact that HP Tools partition may be full.

This partition is not mandatory to have but it contains BIOS recovery tools and UEFI hardware diagnostics tools, extended set of diagnostics tools.

Check this article and follow the steps >> https://support.hp.com/sk-en/document/c03732268

Also, open the partition using Windows Explorer/Computer and take a picture/screenshot what is inside so that I can guide you if anything can be deleted

Eventually, I will provide steps for optimization and making your PC run faster.
