My short dst failed and also now my boot device isn’t found I have no idea what to do now if anyone could help I’d greatly appreciate it

You will need to install a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

Yes, you will have to open up the notebook to replace the drive. 

 

Consult the service manual for your specific model notebook for the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
