Hello, 

 

Currently, most of the HP Victus 16 series (S0xxx, S1xxx, R0xxx, R1xxx) out in the market have hall sensor chip issues, as it is placed near the heat source on the laptop, over the time and under constant heat from the heatpipe & fans, it starts to go haywire. The technicians over the service centers can fix it by replacing the motherboard or replacing the chip itself but this is not a permanent solution, and it is bound to happen again over time. 

 

HP hasn't made an official statement about this, which makes this altogether worse. I would like this issue to be escalated to engineers that is responsible of the Victus 16 motherboard, and would like a permanent fix, or an option in the BIOS that can disable the hall sensor (when the hall sensor is unplugged manually, the CPU itself is limited and there is a performance loss).
