Hello, I do not want to bring up this question AGAIN, but HP leaves me no choice but to ask on this forum or else i would have to pay $20 to get equally useless but faster tech support.
I have an HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec0003ca that has a AMD Ryzen 7 3750H and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 mobile, and 16GB of (upgraded) RAM. I cannot change the amount of hardware reserved memory in MY OWN DEVICE nor can i change the speed of which my memory is supposed to run at (2666MHz) but is currently running at 2400MHz. so i am left stuck with a GAMING DEVICE that cant even use all the ram that is physically inside of it. I am asking of you to send me Either An unlocked bios where ALL the settings including RAM and IGPU settings are available, like a developer BIOS. OR a software fix to this. DO NOT TELL ME OR OTHERS LOOKING AT THIS FORUM THAT WE, THE PEOPLE WHO PURCHASED AND OWN OUR COMPUTERS that we cannot fully use our own devices.
the image here shows what I am dealing with with an idle gaming laptop, my RAM should be running at 2666MHz and i should have 0.1GB hardware reserved memory
I am aware that hp does like their consumers, so unless there is a fix that everyone can use. I and many others will be taking our future business elsewhere .
