My little laptop autamatically downloaded Windows 10, and it has become incredibly slow because the BIOS is 'not compatable' . I was told by Microsoft to update the BIOS, but I could only find an update that predates Windows 10. Are there any fixes, or should I just give up on it? Meanwhile, the most recent security update has continuously failed. Any suggests would be gratefully recieved!

Hi,
Looking at the specs of the notebook, it is not going to do very well with Windows 10 (even with a BIOS update) with Atom processor and 1GB of RAM.
Personally I would replace the 1GB stick of RAM with a 2GB stick and install Linux Mint. I have done this with some of these PCs and they actually run quite well.
If you would like to try something like this and need some help, let me know. You can even try the live version first (without installing).
Regards,
David
