Subject: Help Confirm Original Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 Licence

Hello HP Support Community,

I own an HP laptop with the following details:

  • Model: HP Laptop 15s-fq5xxx

  • Product Number: 67V53PA#ACJ

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Home Single Language

The original product listing for my laptop states that Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 was included.

Office worked when I first purchased the laptop, but I can no longer access it. My Microsoft account does not show an Office licence, and Microsoft Store → Library → Included with device says that my device did not come with additional content.

I would like to know:

  1. Was a genuine Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 licence included with this laptop?

  2. If it was included, can I reinstall and activate it without purchasing Office again?

  3. How can I recover the original licence if it is no longer linked to my Microsoft account?

Please guide me through the simplest solution.

Thank you.

Hello Kuroi_Kenshi,

Thank you for your response.

I have already contacted Microsoft Support, but they confirmed that no Office license is associated with my Microsoft account. I have tried several troubleshooting and recovery methods, but I still cannot access Office.

However, Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 was included with my HP laptop when I purchased it, and I remember using Office after setting up the device.

Since Microsoft could not locate my license, I would appreciate HP's help in resolving this issue and recovering the original Office installation and license that came with my laptop.

I have already provided my laptop details in this support thread, so please refer to the existing information.

I hope HP can help me resolve this issue without requiring me to purchase Office again.

Thank you for your support. I look forward to your guidance.
