Hello everyone,
I have an HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk0048ur laptop with an Intel i5-9300H processor and Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics card.
After attempting a BIOS update, my laptop is stuck in a boot loop: the screen stays black, the fans spin loudly, and sometimes the Caps Lock LED blinks. I tried the BIOS recovery process using the USB method (Windows + B keys), but I get the message "The BIOS recovery files cannot be found."
I checked the official HP website, but BIOS updates are only available for similar models with i7 processors, not for mine.
Could anyone help me find the correct BIOS file or a working recovery image for this exact model? Any advice or files would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Using another PC, download your bios and install on a USB flash that has LED lighting. Insert the USB inro your 15-dk0048 and try part 3 below
-----------
HP support video for bios recovery
Click here to see how to recover your BIOS.
Do 1, 2, and the first part of 3.
For the second part of 3 you will need a USB flash drive and possibly an
older BIOS if the recent BIOS caused the problem. Make sure the USB flash had LED lights.
For laptops, step 2 'CMOS reset' there is no CMOS battery nor CMOS switch and no need to open the laptop. Use the Windows key + 'v' as explained here.
To install from USB.
When you power up your system the LEDs on the flash drive should flash once at the instant power is applied. They will then flash about three to five seconds later (hopefully). When they flash a second time that means the files are being read from the flash drive. If you never see it flash a second time then the boot loader is damaged and you cannot recover the bios unless you use a programming tool or replace the chip. You hold down the Windows key + B key when powering up with the USB flash inserted.
Let me know what you find out.

Sorry, I actually forgot to provide a link to the bios. There are three 15-dk00048 systems listed and all had the same bios as your "ur"
Bios update for 15-dk0048 intel processors is here
Since the Nov 12, 2024 bios failed to install you may want to try an older bios. Looking at the bios releases, the last bios that actually did something is F.63. All the other bios are only security updates which will slow down a gaming system.
using another pc download the file, run it and specify the USB option
