Hello, I have an HP laptop, model Hp pavilion 15-ec2000(2P6B5AV) I am trying to connect two monitors to my laptop. I successfully connected one monitor, but when I connect the second one, there is no display. I am unsure which ports on my laptop support video output, including whether the USB-C port supports video. Could you please help me figure out if it is possible to connect two monitors to my laptop at the same time and which ports I should use?

What is tour 15-ec2000(2P6B5AV) machine ? It should have same ports as one of the following over 50 machines
For example: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2156ng
It ONLY has 1 hopeless SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
Other option (USB-A dock) : https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05357751
Regards.

HP Pavilion 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop
PC 15-ec2000 (2P6B5AV)
product:
4G8T6EA
serial:
5CD1265DT5
Did I understand this correctly? I'm asking to clarify. Does a USB-A output support video, and using one HDMI and one USB-A output, can I open and use two independent windows (tabs) on two screens by selecting the "extend screen" option?

I did say above you can use USB-A to HDMI but the adapter MUST be Displaylink Certified . Yes 2 independent monitors.
Regards.

No, it won't work as 2 independent displays, DisplayLink is a chip inside adapter.
