Hi @AnirbanAlu,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thank you for your query regarding the HP Pavilion - 14-ce3065tu running Windows 11, and the installation error for the Windows Update entry:
"Hewlett-Packard - USB - 4/8/2019 - 1.0.0.237"
This issue occurs when a USB driver update from HP (published via Windows Update) may fail to install or repeatedly show an error, especially after upgrading to Windows 11, which may not require that older driver.
1: Manually Install the Driver
- Go to the official HP support page for your model: 🔗 HP Pavilion - 14-ce3065tu Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
- Look under the Driver-USB or Chipset section.
- Download and install the latest Intel or HP USB drivers manually.
2: Hide the Problematic Update
If the driver is not essential, you can hide it to prevent Windows Update from retrying:
- Download the Show or Hide Updates Troubleshooter from Microsoft
- Run the tool and select Hide updates.
- Choose the HP USB driver from the list and hide it.
3: Use HP Support Assistant
- Download and install HP Support Assistant: 🔗 HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
- It can automatically detect and install the correct drivers for your system.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
