Hey i cannot install hp support assistant on windows 10,says run exe with administrater rights. Already signed into Hp and am the administrator. Deleted Hp assistant by mistake. Thanks for any help

Actually no, you are NOT the administrator -- that is a common misconception about Windows accounts.  Back prior to Windows 7, the default Windows accounts WERE the Administrator -- and that cause major malware issues, as that stuff then ran by default with Admin rights.  So, MS changed Windows after that so new accounts were NOT the Administrator anymore.

 

You have to right-click the .exe file and select Run as adminstrator.  That will invoke the Trusted Installer, which does run with Admin rights, and the app should install OK.
