I reinstalled a fresh Windows 10 installation on the HP ZBook 17 G2. After installation, I install HP Support Assistant for this laptop to get the missing and updated drivers first as I do for any laptop brands. When I run the software and drivers I only get 1 driver, that is Realtek USB and PCIe Media Card Reader Drivers. I installed it, but there are still drivers missing, the unknown device, pci simple communications controller, some driver updates as well. Any way to make the Support Assistant detect all the drivers required?

There isn't any way to do that, I know of.
You can install the drivers you need from the support page.
Just post the names and hardware ID's of the devices that need drivers, and I will post the links to the drivers you need:
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:
How to Find Drivers for Unknown Devices in the Device Manager
One driver you can install now is the one for the pci simple communications controller:
Intel Management Engine Components Driver

I need:
Unknown device: USB\VID_8087&PID_07DC
NVIDIA Quadro K5100M driver update, should I go with 426.50 or 426.25, there is two options in driver page
HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor, newer version auto installed by Windows, should I go with the older version on driver page or leave as is.
Intel Chipset Drivers, there are some chipset drivers installed by Windows and I need all
Realtek high definition audio, there are two options for versions, should I pick 6.0.1.7564 or 6.0.8882 (I have 6.0.1.7561 installed)
Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver, I have 15.44.0.1015 installed, should I go with the 14.8.1.1043 version provided by the driver page or leave as is
Intel Ethernet Connection I217-LM driver, should I go with Intel NIC driver or Intel I217-LM Ethernet Driver for Microsoft Windows on the driver page, I have the inbox driver installed that is going to get overwritten by Windows Update soon
Intel Dual Band Wireless AC-7260 driver, I have 17.15.0.5 (inbox), not sure if there is any drivers for it at all, Windows Update is about to install the updates
Other than the drivers part, should I also try to install the software-solutions, multimedia, operating system enhancements and qfes, thunderbolt secure connect utility?

I'd use the latest drivers from whichever source--Windows or the support page.
In other words, if the driver from Windows is newer than the one on the support page, use the one from Windows.
The USB\VID_8087&PID_07DC is the Intel Bluetooth device that needs a driver.
Use the file I uploaded to my skydrive folder a long time ago before Intel removed support,
Download, unzip and run the Bluetooth driver in the Intel 7260AC WiFi & Bluetooth Drivers.zip file.

You can also install the Intel Wi-Fi driver if you want as it is newer than the default driver that Windows installed.
If you don't have a Thunderbolt dock, you probably don't need the driver for that unless there is a device other than the USB\VID_8087&PID_07DC that is missing a driver.
