So yesterday I was trying to get into my computer ( a HP Notebook - 15-f272wm ), but the screen just stayed black, I can hear the fans working when i turn it on, but nothing shows up on the screen. I also notice that the Hard Drive symbol on the right side of the computer had turn to orange. Do any of you have any clue as to how I can fix it?

I appreciate the tips, but unfortunately they did not work, I did a bit more of research and it turns out that the Hard Drive symbol on the side of my computer turns orange when the computer activates HP Protectsmart Hard Drive Protection and the hard drive is parked which doesn't allow the computer to save data. Do you have any clue as to how I can deactivate this with the screen not working?

No, I'm sorry I do not -- but you should open a new post about that specific issue. Perhaps someone who knows about that product will then read it and offer some help.
