How am I meant to use a fan controlling app? I need to set my fan speed to max, as I've already changed bios and windows settings, but no apps work, I can't use hp command center and hp power manager they are both hidden for me on the store and when I download them differently they don't work AT all.

Hi @Mythnotfound707,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're trying to manually control fan speed on your HP laptop (likely the Victus or Omen devices) because you're facing thermal issues, and HP apps like Command Center and Power Manager are not available or functional.
Steps to Control Fan Speed on HP Victus or Omen Pc’s
✅ 1. BIOS Settings
You've already tried this, but double-check:
- Restart your laptop and press F10 to enter BIOS.
- Look under Advanced > Thermal or Cooling Settings.
- If available, set fan mode to "Performance" or "Always On".
2. HP Command Center / Power Manager Issues
These apps are often OEM-restricted and may not appear in the Microsoft Store for all regions or models.
Workaround:
- Try downloading directly from HP’s support page for your model: 👉 Official HP® Support
- If the apps still don’t work, they may not be supported for your specific SKU.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
