I get the following popup message:
"HP Software Framework is not installed or not running.
Please download and install HP Software Framework from the link -
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/softpaq/CASLSetup.exe. You will need to
restart the system after installation.",
when I use the following keyboard commands:
Fn + F5,
Fn + F6, &
Fn + F10
on my laptop (HP ProBook 450 G3).
What do I to to fix this issue ?
JUST TO NOTE, this link:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/softpaq/CASLSetup.exe
doesn't properly open & may have been removed or is a no longer active or working.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer, would be to install the HP support assistant software from the link below.
Click on the orange download button at the top right of the page.
HP Support Assistant | HP® Official Site
The HPSA software automatically downloads the HP Software Framework program and that should allow you to install the latest HP hotkey software from your notebook's support page.
If you don't want to keep the HP support assistant software installed, I believe you can uninstall it, and it will leave the HP software framework software installed.
