How do I get rid of Mcafee pop ups

I keep getting Mcafee pop ups every five minutes to buy.  I don't want to buy, but they keep popping up

After whatever you do to get rid of the stuff you don't want,

Restart the system and log in.

If you still receive McAfee or other pop-ups on your computer -- your security is lacking.

Windows Defender, the built-in security option provided with Windows, is decent enough to keep random pop-ups from dazzling you -- you might need to check what options are offered by the (Defender) software.

You can always invest in paid versions of Security software that you do want.
