How do I get rid of error messages about "HPWarrantyChecker.exe" app? My HP Pavilion 15 warranty is out by well over a year, but recently I began getting the msg repeatedly. I'm new to the community, so don't know if I can attach a photo of the error message, but here goes...

Jeet_singh:

Thanks for the suggestions! The Windows update troubleshooter found no problems. I got confused on deleting the HP Support Assistant, not realizing it had another name in the list of Programs and Features, but downloaded the latest version which then wrote over that older version and showed yesterday's date on the new installation. My problem about that error message has not been a daily item--it would show up every 2 or 3 days--totally unpredictable. So, thanks very much for your ideas, and I'll continue to watch for the error message. If I go several days without it, hope, hope, I'll let you know that your suggestions took care of the situation. Thanks again!

Jeet,

It's been over 10 days since I first wrote and since you gave me the suggestions. Before that time, I would have had at least one, if not two or three of thoese error messages during that same amount of time, so it looks like you have solved my problem. Thanks very much for your help!
