Hey,

I updated my BIOS to the current version but I made a mistake. Now the CPU gets so hot and the fan keeps running even when it's idle. Can I reinstall the previous version of the BIOS to overwrite the new version? Can someone give me a link to download that? my Laptop is Omen 15-en0001ax. I just want to go back to how it was.

Hi @ridingromeo123

It is not possible, as indicated on the BIOS download page. Apply for version F.26 Rev.A

So how do I solve the issue of the fan and cpi overheating? It only showed up after the update

Try reinstalling the BIOS again, then enter the BIOS and load the BIOS default settings. You can check if there are any processes in Task Manager that are not closing and consuming a lot of resources. Update the graphics card drivers if necessary.
