Hi @fitzymas

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand you need to reinstall HP Audio Control, HP Audio Switch, HP Documentation, and HP Energy Star. Below are the recommended steps to complete the process:

Step 1: Open HP App

  1. Press Windows + S and type HP App.
  2. Launch the HP App.
  3. If the HP App is missing, download and install it from the Microsoft Store.

Step 2: Access Updates

  1. In the HP App, go to Updates.
  2. Select Check for updates.
  3. Allow the tool to detect and install pending drivers and HP applications, including HP Audio Control, HP Audio Switch, HP Documentation, and HP Energy Star.
  4. Restart the computer after installation.

Step 3: Use HP Support Website

  1. Open a browser and go to the official HP Software and Driver Downloads page:
    HP Software and Driver Downloads
  2. Enter your product name or serial number.
  3. Select your operating system.
  4. Under Software – Multimedia and Software – Solutions, locate and download:
    • HP Audio Control
    • HP Audio Switch
    • HP Documentation
    • HP Energy Star
  5. Install each package by double‑clicking the downloaded file and following on‑screen instructions.
  6. Restart the computer after installation.

Step 4: Verify Installation

  1. Press Windows + S and search for each application.
  2. Confirm that HP Audio Control, HP Audio Switch, HP Documentation, and HP Energy Star are listed and open correctly.
  3. If any application is missing, repeat Step 3 to reinstall.

These steps ensure the applications are reinstalled using HP’s official resources only. For accuracy, always use the HP App or HP Support website when reinstalling HP software.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
