Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently inherited my mother’s computer after she passed away, and I would really like to re-reset it in a factory reset how do I do this? I’ve tried going through settings and doing a factory reset but it says I have a certain amount of Megabytes to get rid of before I can factory reset and when I try, it still won’t completely do it. Says that it’s a failed attempt and nothing has changed. How do I get a hard factory reset???
