OMEN by HP - 15-dc0096nd
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an OMEN by HP - 15-dc0096nd with an Intel i7-8750H processor, and I noticed that the latest BIOS update was released on January 9, 2023. Since there have been newer Intel microcode updates after this date, is there a way to manually install these microcode updates without a BIOS update? If so, could you provide guidance on how to do this safely and ensure system compatibility?

Unfortunately, there is no way to install a microcode update separately without a BIOS update for your notebook.

It's been many years since HP used to have separate microcode updates as well as BIOS updates, and I have only seen those on their business desktop PC's from 10 - 15 years ago.

I've performed those separate microcode updates a few times myself back in the day.
