I'm trying to pair my Bluetooth earbuds to my notebook.
There isn't a Bluetooth icon in my action center. There is a connect icon tho. When I click the connect icon a panel opens, above, and the system tries to find a Bluetooth audio device. It never discovers my earbuds even after I enter their name in the search box.
I found two Bluetooth services stopped, and I started them however that didn't help.
Any ideas?

Hi, Joe:
Looking at the product specs for your notebook, it does not come with built in bluetooth networking.
If it did, bluetooth would have been listed along with the 1x1 802.11b/g/n WLAN wireless connectivity specification.
I would say that only 50% of HP consumer class notebooks come with built in bluetooth.

You're very welcome, Joe.
The easiest thing to do would be to purchase an external USB bluetooth adapter.
I use this one on my HP desktop PC. Works fine for the bluetooth speakers I have.
