I downloaded the Command and Conquer game and it doesn't work. I contacted the manufucturer and they told me I will have to update my Intel Graphics and I'm not sure how to do that. Can someone please give me a detail instruction how to do it? I've tried using the intel app but doesn't work. Please someone help.
thanks,

Hi,
You're notebook shipped with Windows 10 Home 64bit so the latest Intel driver on your HP product page can be downloaded from the link below - save this software package to your Downloads folder.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74501-75000/sp74713.exe
When the download has completed, open your Downloads folder and double-tap the software package to start the installation - follow the on-screen prompts to complete this.
When done, restart the notebook.

Hi,
I tried to download and install the one you suggested and when I looked at the dxdiag command to see if its updated, its still showing the old update which is 12/21/15. I just need to update this to the new one so I can play the Command and COnquer Game.
Thanks

Hi,
The only driver later than the current version you have would need to come directly from Intel.
You may have tried this already and received an error when trying to install it 'The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer'.
You can get around this problem as follows.
First, download the latest Intel HD5500 driver for your notebook from the link below and save it to your Downloads folder - you need to second option ( ie win64.exe ).
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25818/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40-
When done, download and install the .64bit version of 7-Zip on the link below.
When you've installed 7-Zip, open your Downloads folder, right click on the Intel HD5500 Graphics installer, select 7-Zip, select extract files and then click Ok.
Cut this newly extracted folder ( win64 ) and paste it on your Desktop so it's easy to find.
When done, hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right click the Intel device and select 'Update Driver Software'.
In the following window, select 'Browser my computer for driver software' and then select 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'.
In the next window, click the 'Have Disk' button and then browse to the extracted Intel HD5500 folder ( win64 ) you pasted on your Desktop.
Browse into the sub-folder Graphics, left click on the file igdlh.INF to highlight it and then click Open.
Click on 'Ok' and then click 'Next' and wait for the driver to install.
When done, click 'Close' and then click 'Yes' to restart the notebook.
