OMEN by HP - 15-ce013na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So recently I bought my new computer Omen 15, and it said that it should have 1TB of space, though I have only one disk, Local disk C,  which has only 118gb available. Where is that 1TB?

@Julija1

You're confusing different space issues.

The 1TB is the capacity of the entire DRIVE.  That is formatted into several spaces known as partitions.

The OS partition contains Windows, OS files, HP utilities, and drivers.  That probably takes up most of the DRIVE.

The available space is only determined for each individual partition, and that is the unused space in each partition.

So, lets say the OS partition was 250GB and 132GB was in use.  That would leave 118GB as "available".

To see the partition layout, enter "create and format" (without the quotes) in the search area and choose Create and Format Hard Disk partitions.  That will open Disk Management which will display the set of partitions on your drive.
