Hi. I have a new Chromebook, which has a lot of blue symbols on many of the keyboard keys, in some cases up to three blue symbols. My keyboard is configured for Canadian English. Does anyone know how to access these symbols? Some of them seem like they would be quite helpful. There's nothing in HP's documentation and HP Support told me I have to pay to get the answer, which is BS. Thanks.

For the keys that have 3 characters just pressing it gives you the bottom-right character, shift+key gives the one above that, and alt gr + key gives you the middle character. The alt gr + key is the combo for the middle blue character on any keys that have just the one blue.
I also found a thread here in the Forum that explains a little deeper:

Thanks, Wyre, but that doesn't really work for most of the blue symbols on the keyboard. I've tried it with several builtin keyboards (English & French Canadian, UK, and various US keyboards). I can only get an occasional blue key to show up, usually in combination with the Alt gr key. I don't understand why HP would produce a product and not document anywhere how it works. It's like they're begging people to return it.

Sorry that didn't help! I thought since the user in the link was using English/Canadian keyboard that could have resolved it...
I owned a very early model Chromebook (English keys only).
