I need to change bios storage option from Intel RST to AHCI. I tried from UEFI bios settings, but I did not find option to change to AHCI. There is only one choice available which is Intel RST.
Is there a way to change storage type from Intel RST/RAID to AHCI.
Please help.

Unfortunately, that would not be possible.
The notebook is designed to support the Intel NVMe SSD's with the built in Optane memory which requires the RAID setting.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
There is no reason to change the setting to AHCI.
RAID and AHCI provide the same performance.

Thank you very much for your response @Paul_Tikkanen.
I want to install Ubuntu on my machine. SSD/HDD is not while installing the ubuntu. I found from Ubuntu forums saying, storage type should be in AHCI mode to install ubuntu. Any chance to get it resolve by updating UEFI etc ?

You're very welcome, Vijay.
Unfortunately, there isn't anything you can do to enable AHCI.
However, I don't think the BIOS' RAID setting is the problem, and here's why...
Your notebook has a NVMe SSD and those don't even use a SATA/RAID controller to function.
They use a separate NVMe controller, so even if you could change the setting from RAID to AHCI, it would make no difference with a NVMe SSD.
But I think the biggest reason that Ubuntu can't find the drive is your notebook has an Intel 11th gen core processor.
Even Windows can't find the drive when you go to install it unless you install a special Intel storage controller driver during the installation process that was developed for PC's that come with the newer Intel 11th and 12th generation core processors.
What I suggest you do is to check the Ubuntu forum and see if they have developed a similar storage controller driver for Ubuntu to 'see' the drive during the installation process on an Intel 11th gen PC.
