Product: Hp Elite book 8440p

I was given this older laptop which runs windows 7 I guess. (Don't know anything about this kind of stuff). Everything was working fine then one morning I woke up, went to use it and everything went from english to spanish. I don't read or speak Spanish. So I have no idea how to change it back since I can't understand any of it. And why would it just change like that to begin with? Someone please help. 😔

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...

How this happened? No one knows -- but you got this from someone else and we would have no way of knowing what they did to it before you got hold of it.
