How to check from which country the laptop purchased from?

Hi,

My friend gave me a new laptop and told me it's purchased from USA. and when I check in internet it seems it's purchased in Malaysia. May I know the produce details where it's purchased from?

and another problem is I could not see any drivers or supporting software download page. it says no drivers avilable

I don't know.

How many production lines for that model will HP have?  Probably just the one in China.

How many countries can you live in and get Amazon/Ebay to deliver that model?  Definitely lots.

As I live in the UK I can buy all sorts of things from all over the world, I can get on a ferry, train or plane and buy something and take it home with me.

KeyBoard has a RM / $ sign? Mine has a £ and $ sign. 

Malaysia has BS1362/3 plug and socket, the US of A has some funny pins, so is the power cable US or UK?

Bro., I asked to understand how people making drama. He told me that he is in USA (Actually he is Malaysia person). I asked to purchase a laptop and and HDD in a deal price because there was Christmas and New year was on the way. Yesterday he gave me that model laptop and a 1 TB HDD WD. the both products seems not from USA. so I came here to get confirmation. because I have to be very careful with the person who lying even for this simple things.
