Thanks Jarry_57 for sharing the steps earlier — really appreciate the guidance.

I followed the instructions, but I’m still seeing Hyper‑V detected in my systeminfo output. I’ve attached the snapshot below.

I’m using this VM specifically for EVE‑NG, and during the VM installation I received a warning saying:

 

“The installer detected that the host has Hyper‑V or Device/Credential Guard enabled. The virtual machine will be launched using Windows Hypervisor Platform.”

Because of this, whenever I try to run any image inside EVE‑NG, I get an error.

I’m assuming this is happening because Hyper‑V/Device Guard was detected during the installation phase.

Below are the screenshots of:

  • My systeminfo output
  • The installation warning
  • The error I get when launching images in EVE‑NG

If anyone has suggestions on how to fully disable Hyper‑V, Device Guard, or any remaining virtualization features on Windows 11 pro, it would be really helpful.
