It's very anoying to be disrupted constantly while typing in a document. Ever 15 minutres or so, device access manager demands you to swipe your finger or to type in your password. How can I disable this annoying feature?

Hi @Tae-IPA,
Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I understand you need assistance in disabling device access manager from your HP notebook. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Did you make any software or hardware changes to your PC?
Have you tried to uninstall the program from Control panel?
In the meantime, let's try these steps here:
Perform a Hard reset on the notebook:
Many startup errors and other problems can be resolved by decreasing the amount of power stored in hardware components. Decreasing stored power is sometimes referred to as a "Hard Reset". Use the following steps to perform a hard reset on a computer:
-
If Windows is open, click Start and then Shutdown.
If Windows is not open and the computer has power, press and hold the power button on the computer until the computer shuts off.
-
With the power off, disconnect the power cord from the back of the computer.
-
With the power off and the power cord disconnected, press the power button on the computer for 5 seconds. The power light indicator on or near the power button might turn on briefly but then go out.
-
Reconnect the power cord and turn on the power.
Let's uninstall Device Access Manager for HP ProtectTools from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program Device Access Manager for HP ProtectTools, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Device Access Manager for HP ProtectTools.

Dear mr./mrs. Singh,
First of all ... Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I'm living on Aruba and just bought a HP ProBook 450 G4. As a teacher for teachers, I give feedback to our colleagues of the future, so I work a lot with Word. I always work with an external hard-drive. If I'm correct, I have Windows 10 on this computer.
Every some minutes I am being disturbed by the following message:
"Device manager
Just in time authentisation requires for removable storage. Click on balloon to do so"
Up till now, I haven't found a method how to uninstall - or disable - this message. The possibilities you send me - for which I really thank you! - didn't help me very much. It could be of corse, that I'm not enough 'digital aged'.
Your further advice would be appreciated very much!!!
Thank you in advance!!!
