It should be easy to do but I can't find the option to enable the "take a break" notifications from HP recommends. I accidentally disabled them and I've been searching for a solution but I can't find the option. Please help ASAP!!

Hi @Vale31,
Thank you for the response.
To enable the "Take a Break" notifications on your HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop, you will typically need to adjust settings within the HP software you have installed, such as the HP Support Assistant. However, since these types of notifications are not universally standardized across all HP tools, the process can slightly differ based on the software’s version. Here's a general guide on how you might achieve this:
Open HP Support Assistant:
- Search for "HP Support Assistant" in the Windows search bar and open the application.
Navigate to Settings:
- Within HP Support Assistant, locate the settings option. This is usually represented by a gear icon or can be found under the menu options.
Adjust Notifications:
- Look for a section related to notifications. Here, you should be able to manage various alerts and messages, including the option to enable "Take a Break" notifications if they are available in your version.
Software Updates:
- Ensure that your HP Support Assistant is updated to the latest version, as newer updates might include additional features or changes related to notifications.
If you are unable to locate these options within HP Support Assistant, it is possible that the "Take a Break" notifications are part of another application or feature set provided by HP. It's also a good idea to ensure your Windows system notifications are enabled for HP applications, which you can verify by:
- Opening Windows Settings > System > Notifications & Actions.
- Scrolling down to find the HP applications and ensuring notifications are toggled on.
I hope this helps.
