Hi @Likki_23-G,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you are referring to the BIOS startup menu on an HP laptop. The BIOS startup menu, also known as the BIOS boot menu or BIOS setup utility, allows you to configure various settings related to your laptop's hardware and boot options.

To exit the BIOS startup menu on an HP laptop, follow these steps.

  • Save any changes (if applicable): If you made any changes to the BIOS settings and wish to keep them, you should save the changes before exiting. Look for an option like "Save Changes and Exit" or "Save & Exit Setup" in the BIOS menu. Use the arrow keys to navigate and select this option, then confirm by pressing the appropriate key (usually "Enter" or "Y" for yes).
  • Exit without saving (if no changes were made): If you didn't make any changes or don't want to keep the changes you made, you can simply exit the BIOS without saving. In the BIOS menu, look for an option like "Exit Without Saving" or "Exit Discarding Changes." Select this option and confirm when prompted.
  • Exit with default settings (if needed): If you made changes but want to revert to the default BIOS settings, you can usually find an option like "Load Default Settings" or "Restore Defaults" within the BIOS menu. Select this option, and then save and exit if prompted, or exit without saving if you prefer.
  • Restart your laptop: Once you have exited the BIOS menu, your laptop will usually restart automatically. If it doesn't, you can manually restart it by pressing the power button briefly to turn it off and then pressing it again to turn it back on.

Remember that accessing and navigating the BIOS menu may vary slightly depending on the model of your HP laptop. Generally, during the boot process, you can press a specific key (such as F10, F2, Esc, or Delete) to enter the BIOS setup utility. The key to access BIOS should be displayed on the screen briefly during the laptop's startup. If you miss it, you can restart your laptop and try again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
