Hi
I reinstalled windows 11 freshly onto my computer because of a very severe Trojan horse infection. My computer is missing many drivers and cannot connect to the internet at all. I went to the HP website and entered my serial number then my product number in order to find the correct drivers for my computer although apparently my product number is invalid. I tried many times re-entering my product number and serial number but nothing is working. Can anyone help me find a solution to find the correct drivers for my computer? My computer is Victus by HP Laptop 16-e0xxx

Hi @Aaron72 Windows 11 at the moment has not been fully optimized so most drivers are still not supported on the operating system. That is why it is highly suggested that we exercise patience until the developers properly work on Windows 11 before we decide to upgrade to the operating system. Most drivers especially the one that you are seeking will most likely work on Windows 10.

Hi, @Aaron72
Here is the link to the driver support page for your notebook.
On the left side of the page--select Windows 11 from the drop down menu.
On the right side of the page, select Windows 11, or Windows 11 21H2
Go to the device manager, there will be a device labeled as a Network Controller.
That is the Wi-Fi adapter that needs a driver.
Post the hardware ID for the Network Controller so I can figure out what Wi-Fi driver it needs so you can install the driver and connect to the internet.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...

You will need to download the driver file from another PC, copy it to a USB flash drive, plug the flash drive into your Victus notebook and run the driver from the flash drive.
