I am using HP Envy 15 inch laptop fom last two year and i have installed lot of application on it. When i purchased it was come woth 8.1 OS but now its has been upgrade to Window 10.

Now I want to format my machine with clean install with keeping the window licence.

How can i format my system window having window 10?

I have CDs which comes with laptop at the time of purchase, if i restore from the CD then it will restore the window 8 version.

Download OS in secure boot and format all data.

When you Upgraded to Win10, Microsoft reused the product key already in the PC and registered that with their Activation servers.  Thus, you can reinstall Win10 again, at any time, and the PC will automatically be reactivated.

You can get install media from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10

When you boot from the install media, you will eventually see a screen with the installer asking where to install the OS.  On that screen, you have the option to reformat the drive.

Good Luck
