HP Pavilion - 17-f201nv (ENERG
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! I recently formated my laptop because I wanted to run on Windows 7 and not Windows 10, that it had preinstalled, and I have trouble finding the drivers. My laptop is the HP Pavilion - 17-f201nv (ENERGY). I cannot even connect a usb flash driver or ehternet and the wlan is off. Is there any chance that we can find any compatible drivers for windows 7?

You're very welcome.

You need this driver for the 1st device...

This package provides the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Management Engine Interface enables communication between the host operating system and the Intel Management Engine firmware.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71001-71500/sp71360.exe

You need this driver for the 6007:

This package provides the HP 3D Driveguard Software (HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection) for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The HP 3D Driveguard Software protects the hard drive by parking the heads if the notebook is accidentally dropped, or is abruptly impacted by another object.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71811.exe

As far as installing anything else (software), that would be entirely up to you.

None of it would be required for the notebook to run properly.

Hi:

You should be able to use the W7 x64 drivers and software from the 17-f000 notebook series on your model, except the BIOS and firmware files.

For the graphics, you have to install the Intel graphics driver first, restart the PC, and then install the nvidia graphics.

I just finished trying the drivers. The majority was a failure with the  message: "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software ",as for the usb 3 drivers the message was this: "this operating system is not supported". What shall i do?

Hi:

Try the USB driver directly from Intel.

Download, unzip and run the setup application from the driver at the link below.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22824/Intel-USB-3-0-eXtensible-Host-Controller-Driver-for-...

Graphics:  Install this driver first and restart the PC.  The 64 bit file is the top one on the left.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26984/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?pr...

Then install the nvidia graphics driver from the f000 support page I posted and restart the PC.

And for the others drivers? Wifi, ehernet, intel chipset the second one?

Please post the hardware ID's for the devices that still need drivers.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID.

https://www.howtogeek.com/193798/how-to-find-drivers-for-unknown-devices-in-the-device-manager/

Use this Intel chipset driver.  Second one down on the left side of the page.  Install and restart the PC.
