Hi @Firemarshal968

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

To initialize your free year of Microsoft 365 that came with your HP laptop, follow these steps:

Check for Pre-Installed Office Apps:

  • Open any Office app (e.g., Word or Excel) on your laptop. These apps are usually pre-installed on HP laptops with the free Microsoft 365 offer.

Activate Microsoft 365:

  • When you open the app, an activation prompt should appear.
  • Sign in with your Microsoft account or create one if you don’t have it.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation.

Verify Subscription:

  • After activation, you can check your subscription status by signing into your Microsoft account at Microsoft Account.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
