How to install external app on Windows 11 Home in S mode

 

Whenever installing external app getting pop-up .. The app you're trying to install isn't a Microsoft-verified app.. but not able to find any option change my app recommendation settings.

Hi:

 

You cannot install any software other than what is available at the Microsoft Store on any PC running W10 or W11 in S-Mode.

 

If you need to install programs that are not available at the Microsoft Store, you will need to switch out of S-Mode.

 

See this link for how to switch out of S-Mode.

After you make the change, you cannot go back to W11 in S-Mode unless you use the factory recovery media you make with the HP cloud recovery tool.
