Morning,
I am trying to lock the charge of my laptop to 80%.
I have tried everything, go into BIOS, press CTRL + F1, go back to BIOS, etc... Nothing.
My bios advanced settings are locked for me on this product so I have no idea on what to do next.
I guess I will have to leave my laptop always plugged at 100% so my battery dies and have to replace it eventually right?
Can't believe how a brand like HP doesn't have a propietary software that lets you tune these setting like Asus or Lenovo has,

Your machine is NOT a business class machine therefore no that option in BIOS. Please use the following guides to keep battery healthy

Thanks for the tips @Banhien!
Unfortunately, none of this tips do what I need it to do. I honestly can't believe that a company like HP doesn't have a software, or even a way, to limit battery charge to a certain ammount for those high end laptops that require a lot of performance (3D rendering in my case) and I need to have the laptop plugged in, while demolishing my battery life because of that stupid decision.
I don't mean going into bios and changing settings, I get that this is risky and the general population can't manipulate that, myself included, but Lenovo has a software that lets you handle this, ASUS as well... HP is way behind on that.
